Two people impacted by Automatic Crash Response
Terry Hensley is a mother, grandmother and rescuer of goats who lives in Texas. She and her husband had just picked up the grandkids when a truck ran into them head-on. Their vehicle flipped onto its side and all Terry could think about was whether her grandkids were injured, when an Advisor automatically connected to the vehicle and said she was sending help.
Dr. Stewart Wang is a trauma surgeon and director of the University of Michigan International Center for Automotive Medicine. He has dedicated his career to reducing injuries caused in crashes. He and his team studied the effectiveness of Injury Severity Prediction, part of Automatic Crash Response, which analyzes data from a crash and predicts the likelihood of severe injuries, helping emergency responders send the right kind of help to the scene.
Together, their stories represent two different sides of how OnStar Automatic Crash Response helps people every day. Watch the videos to learn more.
